Her ongoing research project, Morowa Nana, explores African womanhood, ancestral memory, and the politics of representation. Built from field research, archival work and cross-disciplinary collaboration, Morowa Nana examines the complexity, beauty and global presence of the African female experience.
Throughout her journey, Jessica has become increasingly dedicated to advocating for the visibility, protection and creative empowerment of African women and girls globally. She sees her work as part of a larger commitment: to open doors, challenge narratives, and create spaces where the next generation can thrive with confidence in their identities.
Her personal motto — “Always keep learning, moving and evolving” — continues to guide every step of her creative path.
