Jessica Oyono is a Madrid-born creative with roots in the African diaspora. After more than a decade in London, she has cultivated a multidisciplinary path grounded in cultural storytelling, identity, and visual expression.
She studied Advertising and Public Relations at the Pontificia University of Salamanca, later completing a Master’s in Marketing Communication and Advertising at ESIC Business & Marketing School in Barcelona. From the early years of her career, Jessica worked across fashion, art direction, and brand narrative—collaborating with projects such as Afropunk, The Africa Centre London, VB, Joseph, Somerset House Trust and the Spanish Consulate. Her approach blends strategy, research, and emotional intelligence, always centring people and culture.
In 2023, she founded Ngalo Consulting—named in honour of her grandmother—as a platform to support Black and African diaspora creatives through storytelling, creative consulting, and intentional collaboration.
Throughout her journey, Jessica has become increasingly dedicated to advocating for the visibility, protection, and creative empowerment of African women and girls globally. She sees her work as part of a larger commitment: to open doors, challenge narratives, and create spaces where the next generation can thrive with confidence in their identities.
Her personal motto — “Always keep learning, moving and evolving” — continues to guide every step of her creative path.
